Welcome
Fostering with Kinks & Curls was born because families need support. Too often, we see foster and adoptive parents struggling, wanting to care for their children but feeling unsure, unprepared, or even to uncomfortable to ask for help. That uncertainty trickles down to the child, whose hair becomes neglected, matted or left without proper care. But textured hair is not just hair- it is culture, identity, and confidence. We believe God placed it on our hearts to answer this call. Together, we are creating a safe space where foster and adoptive parents learn to care for textured hair with love, knowledge, and confidence.
Confidence Building
Confidence starts with you. As you learn to nurture your child's kinks and curls, you're not just styling hair, you're shaping how they see themselves in the mirror and in the world.
Bridging the Gap
Every workshop, every lesson, every strand styled with care and every parent being united with those willing to guide, teach, and encourage bridges the gap between parents who want to learn and the people who is willing to help.
Community
Together as a community, we create spaces where foster and adoptive parents feel supported and children feel confident. For children in foster care, nurtured hair means one less worry and one more reminder they are loved.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to equip foster and adoptive parents with the education, support and resources to lovingly care for textured hair. For many families, hair care can feel overwhelming, intimidating but at our workshops it becomes a moment of connection. We pride ourselves on upholding Christian values within our nonprofit, Showing unconditional love to families, extending grace, and creating a safe spaces to educate and empower everyone.
